Bell IMAP Settings

If you wish to configure the IMAP email server settings manually on your Bell email account, enter the below-mentioned IMAP server settings on your email client.
 Bell IMAP Settings

  • Step 1:
    Select the incoming mail server as IMAP and Outgoing mail server as SMTP.
  • Step 2:
    The Incoming mail server name is imap.bell.net, and the Outgoing mail server is smtphm.sympatico.ca.
  • Step 3:
    The port number for IMAP is 993, and SMTP is 25 or 587.
  • Step 4:
    Note that SSL is required for IMAP. You need to select STARTTLS or TLS, else SSL for SMTP.
  • Step 5:
    If server settings require authentication, click Yes.
  • Step 6:
    Select the encryption for IMAP as SSL(Secure Sockets Layer) and TLS/SSL for SMTP.
  • Step 7:
    Now, the Bell IMAP Settings is configured successfully.

Comcast IMAP Settings

  • Step 1:Open your Comcast account on your e-mail client using the Account settings or Add a New Account option.
  • Step 2:You can set up your account automatically by entering your account name, e-mail address, and password.
  • Step 3:After fetching your e-mail account details, you can use your e-mail account in the e-mail client.
  • Step 4:To set up IMAP email server settings, click on the Manually configure server settings tab or Additional server type tab, and click Next.
  • Step 5:In the Internet E-mail Settings window, enter the necessary details in the User Information, Server Information, and Login Information.
  • Step 6:Enter the Username and Email-ID in the User Information column.
  • Step 7:Now go to the server information column.
Incoming server settings:
Account typeIMAP
Incoming mail serverimap.comcast.net
Incoming mail server port993 (with SSL turned On)
Set STARTTLS as the authentication method. You can enable SSL with port number 143 if needed.
Outgoing server settings:
Outgoing mail serversmtp.comcast.net.
Incoming mail server port587 for SMTP or 465 for SMTPs
  • Step 8:The TLS protocol must be used for encryption (if TLS is not displayed, use SSL).
  • Step 9:In the Login Information column, enter your Comcast Email address and password.
  • Step 10:If you still have a problem with Comcast IMAP settings, contact our technical team.

Yahoo is considered as one of the top-ranking e-mail service providers. To use the Yahoo account on your e-mail client, you need to create a Yahoo e-mail account and configure it on your client. Whenever you add a new email account to your email client, you must configure the server settings. You can send and receive messages from your Yahoo account on email programs such as Gmail, Outlook, Thunderbird, or directly from a web browser. Setting up IMAP for your Yahoo account will sync your messages to the email server and enables you to access them from any email program or browser. Generally, to create an account, information such as E-mail address, Account user name, and Account password are required.
First, open your email client and enter the following parameters for IMAP configuration under Server Settings.
