Why My eM Client Search Not Working?

The eM Client works with IMAP; it can only download the message headers and not the content of the message or a word in the content. Messages themselves are fully downloaded each time. Thus, eM Client cannot search in the bodies of all your messages by default. If you'd like to search inside the messages, you can download your messages for offline use. To download the message offline, click on Menu > Accounts > IMAP > Offline > Download messages for offline use.



Refresh Your Account

Step 1:

Refresh the page by pressing the control key and the R key simultaneously. Otherwise, close all the windows and restart your computer. Internet glitch can also be a cause for this issue.

Step 2:

Now launch eM Client on your computer and try to type in the search bar.

Synchronize Your eM Client

Step 1:

eM Client can synchronize all your calendar, tasks, and contacts if the server supports and enables the CalDAV or CardDAV protocol. You can also synchronize your Gmail, iCloud, or Fruux calendar with eM Client at ease.

Step 2:

Launch eM Client on your computer and click on Menu > Tools > Accounts.

Step 3:

Select CalDAV & CardDAV and make sure to enable CalDAV & CardDAV servers.
