Google IMAP

If you want to receive Gmail via a separate client and receive all the emails in a single Inbox, you need to configure the Google IMAP settings so that the email client is informed where and how to retrieve Gmail messages.

IMAP settings for the Incoming Mail:

• Step 1:
  Type imap.gmail.com at the server address category.
• Step 2:
  Enter the mail username and password.
• Step 3:
  Set the IMAP port to 993 and SSL as Yes.

SMTP settings for Outgoing Mail:

• Step 1:
  Enter the server address as smtp.gmail.com
• Step 2:
  After inputting the address and password, set the port (TLS) to 587.
• Step 3:
  Keep the port (SSL) as 465.
