Here we explain how to configure Hotmail SMTP Settings on windows live mail



• Step 1:
  Click Accounts--Email.
• Step 2:
  Type the email address and password.
• Step 3:
  Check the option Remember this password.
• Step 4:
  Input the name under Display names for your sent messages.
• Step 5:
  Select the option Manually configure server settings.
• Step 6:
  Tap Next--SMTP.
• Step 7:
  Enter smtp-mail.outlook.com under the Server address.
• Step 8:
  Input 587 in the Port box.
• Step 9:
  Check the option Requires a secure connection.
• Step 10:
  Click Next--Finish.
