How to stop spam emails?

Here Mail-setup teaches you how to stop spam emails on the phone in a simple way. There are not many ways to prevent spam from piling up in your Inbox. Here’s how you can filter out most of them.

Step 1:
Mark spam as spam
Instead of deleting the spam mails in your Inbox, mark it spam. This practice trains your email service provider to identify spam and filter it out.



Step 2:
Avoid exposing your mail address
Set your email address visible only to your contacts on all the sites you’ve provided it. Use a temporary email address for communicating while running ads or classifieds.



Step 3:
Never open suspicious emails
Never open emails from suspicious senders. Disable image display from unknown senders since these mails might contain tracking pixels. Configure the mail in a way that any mail with tracking pixel is notified to you.



Step 4:
Do not disclose email address to random companies
There is much less chance of getting your Inbox spammed if you refuse to give the address to companies you don’t trust.
