Steps to follow how to setup yahoo mail on mac

• Step 1:
  Navigate to the Mail tab in the initial step and choose the Preferences option from the drop-down menu. 
• Step 2:
  Access the Accounts tab and click on the plus symbol. In the Add Account screen, key in the email address and the password correctly. 
• Step 3:
  Tap the Continue button and fill in the following information in the incoming and the outgoing mail server screens. 
• Step 4:
  Incoming mail server settings:
  • Account type: IMAP
  • Description: describe your account. 
  • Incoming mail server: imap.mail.yahoo.com
  • Username and password.
• Step 5:
  Outgoing mail server settings:
  • Description: Short description for your mail
  • Outgoing mail server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
  • Username and the password
• Step 6:
  Verify the account summary in the next step and click the Create button.
