SMTP Error 421 In Microsoft Outlook

Here we clearly explain why SMTP error 421 occurs on Microsoft Outlook and how to rectify it. This issue usually occurs due to incorrect SMTP server settings.

Step 1:
At first, launch the main window of the Outlook application, click the File tab and choose the Account Settings option.

Step 2:
Now, the Account Settings dialog window will be displayed on the screen.

Step 3:
Choose your existing email address and click the Remove button at the top.

Step 4:
This will remove the email account from the Microsoft Outlook application.

Step 5:
Once done, click the New button and select the radio button next to the Email Account option.

Step 6:
Once you provide the correct details in the Your Name, Email Address, Password, and Retype Password fields, click the Next button.
